Self-Development of People, a ministry of the Presbyterian Church (USA) enters into partnerships with community groups of low-income people that want to change their lives and communities. The National Committee carries out its work by making grants to, and entering into partnerships with, community groups that meet SDOP’s funding criteria of group members directly controlling, owning and benefiting from the project. Grants are normally not more than $20,000.
Self-Development of People will host a grants community workshop in Newark, NJ on April 8, 2010 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Roseville Avenue Presbyterian Church located at 36 Roseville Avenue, Newark, NJ (Between Sussex Avenue & Orange Street).
