Dear Presbytery Friend,

Sadly, I report to you that a former minister member of Newark Presbytery, The Rev. Margaret A. ("Margie") Huffmon, died on Thanksgiving morning. Margie had been serving as an interim minister in North Carolina. She was formerly a member of Newark Presbytery and subsequently of Newton Presbytery, before transferring to the Presbytery of Charlotte. There will be a "Celebration of Margie" service at the Madison Presbyterian Church, 19 Green Ave., Madison, NJ, at 1 pm on Saturday, December 12. A reception and lunch will follow in the fellowship hall of the Madison Presbyterian Church.

I am grateful to Newton Presbytery's the Rev. Herb Huffmon, formerly of Newark Presbytery, who passed this information along to me. Our prayers in hopeful confidence in the Resurrected Christ are extended to Herb, other members of her family, and Margie's North Carolina congregation.
