The Board of Trustees and the session of First Presbyterian Church, Orange, New Jersey, have approved the distribution of a Request for Proposal (RFP) to qualified firms with expertise in urban site re-adaptation, re-purposing, community needs and ordinances, and government relationships in keeping with the mission and purpose of Newark Presbytery. The RFP deadline is May 1, 2009. The Board of Trustees will select the service provider from among the applicants who will begin the site assessment according to the work agreement that will be created.
Newark Presbytery, a regional governing body of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and the Synod of the Northeast, seeks proposals from qualified individuals or firms (“developer”) for “facility and site development” assessment of one of its holdings. The developer is asked to evaluate adaptive options considered by the presbytery, to develop other plans of action and options as appropriate, and to recommend funding sources, revenue projections, and possible development partners in keeping with the vision and mission of Newark Presbytery.
