Event on October 24, 2009

I hope that you'll take an afternoon or evening to come and see “Ragtime,” the show I’m doing in Bloomfield, Oct. 16-24. October 16, 17, 22, 23, 24 performances begin at 8:00 PM. October 18 performance (Sunday) begins at 2:00 PM. It is a fantastic and powerful story, the show has wonderful music, and this is an excellent cast (seriously)! "Ragtime" performances will take place at the Westminster Arts Center on the campus of Bloomfield College. Tiicket info is available at: www.mocmusicals.org. If you buy two tickets or more online for opening night, they are half price ($18).
-Hope to see you there!!

"Ragtime" illustrates the lives of three groups of people living in the NY area in the early 1900s – the people of Harlem, an upper class family in New Rochelle, and the immigrants entering the country at the time. Dotted with historical figures such as Houdini, Evelyn Nesbitt, Booker T. Washington, JPMorgan, Henry Ford and Emma Goldman, the soaring score includes marches, cakewalks, gospel and - of course - ragtime!
