Event on June 12, 2011

The Pentecost Offering is a powerful opportunity to minister for the future. Congregations keep 40% for programs that benefit children at risk. The General Assembly divides the remaining 60% between ministries with youth and young adults 50% and children-at-risk ministries 10%.

The needs are great, the opportunities to help abundant. Jesus said, "As God has sent me, so I send you". We answer Christ's call with our gifts and with our very lives. Our gifts allow children to grow into thoughtful and centered young people and, in turn, into empathetic young aduts with a healthy sense of self-worth and the selfless desire to serve others. It is with our call, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to encourage young people to seek out ways to determine God's plan for them. Pentecost Offering...Children at risk. Youth. Young Adults. "So I Send You". John 20:21 See attached Bulletin Cover and other flyers for more ways Pentecost Offering is helping make a difference. Excerpt from Pentecost Offering brochure back cover.
