Dear Brothers and Sisters,
On March 11, 2011 an Earthquake struck Japan triggering Tsunami tidal waves on the Northeast part of Japan.
The Newark Presbytery will take part in the relief effort in Japan.
WHAT CAN WE DO?
Pray for the people of Japan as they grieve the loss of loved ones and begin to rebuild their lives;
pray also for the government of Japan as it coordinates rescue, response, and recovery efforts.
Donate to provide food, water, and temporary shelter to those affected by the Earthquake and Tsunami.
Please send contributions designated "Japan Relief" to the Presbytery Center, 192 Broad Street, Bloomfield,
NJ 07003 or directly to the Presbyterian Disaster Assistance. Make checks payable to the Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, and in the memo field use CODE "DR 000117". Presbyterian Church USA, PO Box 643700, Pittsburg, PA 15264-3700.
How Blessed we are that we can give to help our brothers and sisters in Japan.
May God bless you for all your efforts.
