Interested in learning more about community transformation? The resources offered by the CCDA are worth a look, and even a drive, as they are offering a workshop on community transformation in our region on April 25th in Philadelphia.
The CCDA is the Christian Community Development Association, a long-time nationally recognized ministry. I have benefited over many years from the CCDA's ministry as an urban pastor. CCDA's Mission is to inspire, train, and connect Christians who seek to bear witness to the Kingdom of God by reclaiming and restoring under-resourced communities. This aligns well with Newark Presbytery's Community Transformation Commission's mission. The CCDA is offering a day-long training in our region in Philadelphia which would be a great opportunity to attend with a team from your church. Here are the details:
