Dear Clerk of Session and Church Moderator:

The next Newark Presbytery Stated Meeting is Saturday, May 14, 2011 9:00 a.m. registration. Location: First Presbyterian Church of Arlington, 663 Kearny Avenue, Kearny, NJ 07032.

Each Session must choose a Commissioner to represent its church as the voting member at all Stated Meetings. Most churches only have ONE ( 1 ) Elder Commissioner. Please provide the name of the one person that will represent your church at the Stated Meeting as the voting member.

Email names to Warren McNeill, Stated Clerk at warren@newarkpresbytery.com

Subject Line Title Type: "Commissioner for May Stated Meeting" please include your church name in the body of the email along with the persons name.

For congregations with more than one Commissioner please also forward those names to the Stated Clerk via email. There can be no more than three and only a couple of churches have more than one voting Commissioner at Stated Meetings.

Please RSVP/forward your Elder Commissioner's name(s) before or by May 10, 2011 to the Stated Clerk via warren@newarkpresbytery.org

All questions should be directed to the Stated Clerk.


Anyone attending the meeting not able to confirm whether or not they where selected as the Voting Elder Commissioner, will be asked to sign the visitor attendance sheet and will not have voting rights, unless they are a Minister Member, Committee Moderator or on the Mission Council.
