FROM THE SYNOD COUNCIL - Synod of the Northeast:

As you are probably already aware, Mary Lynne Flowers, the Synod of Northeast's Executive for Administration and Stated Clerk, has announced her plans to retire. This year's Assembly marks the last time we will be together as a group with Mary Lynne, as she nears her retirement.

For the past five and one-half years, we have been privileged to work with Mary Lynne through struggle,triumphs, joys and sorrows. Many of us have good memories of these years, and will want to congratulate Mary Lynne and wish her well as she moves to the next step on her path.

Please join Mary Lynne and the Synod Assembly as we Celebrate her ministry among us on Friday, October 21st at 8 PM in the dining room of the Stony Point Conference Center. We welcome others who are not attending Synod to join us in this Celebration.
