Bible Lovers Alert! If your ears have been drinking in the sounds of the Authorized King James Version … If the words that echo in the chambers of your heart are from this translation…. If your spirit has been nourished since Sunday School by these words,

SATURDAY, MARCH 26TH AT PRINCETON THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY IS FOR YOU!!!

On that day, the Seminary will celebrate the 400th anniversary of the KJV. We will explore the times and timelessness of the KJV by asking the question: “What Hath King James Wrought?” Our explorations will be guided by these keynotes and workshops :

• President Iain R. Torrance’s “The Bible in English: Tyndale and his Followers and Imitator”
• Professor James H. Charlesworth’s “The Gospel of John and History: How Archaeology Surprisingly
Sometimes Proves John's Report".
• “Celebrating the Quadricentennial of the King James Version”, C. Clifton Black,
• “Tyndale, the King James Bible, and a Biblical English Prose Style in American Literature”, F. W. Dobbs-
Allsopp.
• "Is there a King James Bible in Spanish?" The Reina-Valera Bible in Hispanic Protestantism from 1602 to
Today, Francisco O. Garcia-Treto
• “Readeth Thou the KJV of the Bible? ALOUD?!?”, Nancy Lammers Gross
• “What the Bible Is and Is Not” ,Kang-Yup Na
• “Bible Translations and Their Consequences”, Choon-Leong Seow

Worship in Miller Chapel: “A Meditation on the African American Spirituals” led by Peter Paris and William Heard.

FEES: $35 per person includes lunch; save $5 when you register with a group of five or more from your congregation!
