I was saddened to learn that on June 6th, after an illness, the Rev. Barbara Worthington died with her husband and children at her side. Barbara was the former Executive Presbyter and member of Palisades Presbytery. Her husband, the Rev. John Worthington (member of Newark Presbytery), served as Interim Executive Presbyter of Newark Presbytery. A few years ago they moved to Washington state. I phoned John on Monday and extended the presbytery's love and sympathy.
